"I have spent most of my life, trying to get and keep it all. I found out that life and love are your only true possessions. I had all the trappings, and things the great American dream promises, but, it is all gone now, and I am richer than ever, I have found the true joy in life is giving, and helping others to face the day, and, when I took my guitar into the first nursing home I ever sang in, I knew why I was born, and given my talents.

God has raised me from the ashes of a failed marriage, and given me the love of thousands, and thousands of people I have brought joy to with my music. I am only a simple man, with a dream, to inspire Americans to remember, and honor, and most importantly visit, and spend some of the free love, and blessings God gives us all, with the people who held us, gave us lunch money, and never let us feel alone.
